Empowering adults with learning disabilities through specialty coffee.
Fair Shot is a registered charity that aims to transform the lives of marginalized young adults with a learning disability by creating a systemic and sustainable solution to the 95% unemployment rate. Every year, they offer 12-15 young adults aged 18-25 with a learning disability the opportunity to gain real-life work experience via their 11 month training programme taking place in their cafe in Covent Garden. Through their year-long traineeship programme, they’re growing the next generation of skilled baristas and expert cafe assistants. Following the programme, paid roles are uniquely carved around the gifts and abilities of their graduates. Fair Shot then continues supporting both the graduate and the employer to ensure sustainable employment.
Bloomfield trust will be doubling each of your generous donations up to £30,000. Each of your donations will fund the continued delivery of our multi-award winning programmes dedicated to offering young adults with learning disabilities a Fair Shot.
