Almost 7 months/ 200+ days on, the brutal genocide on Palestinians is still ongoing. The bombardment of Israeli military has either killed or injured over 110,000 innocent Palestinian lives, with the majority targeted being children💔. This has also meant the displacement and homelessness of over 1.7 million people!😢 Furthermore, this has led to the 1.7 million displaced people experiencing catastrophic food insecurity, facing famine and with poor to no healthcare system in place.🥺
With International workers’ day (May Day) approaching on 1st May 2024, to show our solidarity with the Palestinian people, members of Cr3ative Kindness will participate in the following activities:
* Wearing our keffiyehs/badges all day
* Attending the demo at St Peter’s Square Manchester, where our members will be running the family bloc with creative activities for children such as arts and crafts, face paints, floor chalk, natural Palestinian henna art and much more
* Running a charity food and bake sale, donating all proceeds to MAP
* Uploading all images on the day to social media using hashtags such as #stoparmingisrael #mayday4palestine #freepalestine
* Creating and running our own JustGiving page for MAP to maximise the donations
Cr3ative Kindness has chosen MAP as their fundraising charity due their track record of excellence! Since October 7th MAP has delivered nearly $7 million USD worth of aid to Gaza, Palestine! 🇵🇸 MAP works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees, providing immediate medical aid to those greatly in need. MAP also plays a vital role in bearing witness to the injustices caused by the Israeli occupation and displacement of the Palestinians. They speak out in the UK and internationally, amplifying Palestinian voices which would otherwise have been suppressed (MAP)! 💔😢
