We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

I will be jumping from an aeroplane at 15,000 feet in memory of my mum Julie, to raise money for Myton Hospice, with a team from our local pub.

Even though this is a lifes goal for me the thought does come with some trepidation.

Please support us in raising money for a good cause, Thank You ❤.

Our Story

just a local pub, owned by a local guy, doing our part for charity!

Just a pub, its a meeting place for individuals

just a pub, its a safe space for all

just a pub, its where ideas are born

just a pub, its involving others

just a pub, its a community hub

just a pub, its challenging people to do more

just a pub, its a network of people

In July 2026 we have signed up to do a PUB SKYDIVE. around 30 people from within The Horseshoes from the staff to locals and regulars, have signed up to come along for the ride with me and jump from a perfectly serviceable aircraft at 15000ft free falling at around 125mph for 60 seconds before the cords pulled, releasing the chute.

At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option.

We are a charity, not the NHS, and must raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it costs this year to provide our services free of charge.

Just 17% of our funding comes from the NHS.

Last year, we supported over 2,000 people and their families, in our hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
