Running the Manchester and Leeds marathons within two weeks of each other is a going to be a challenge, especially when done in memory of a friend who suffered from Motor Neurone Disease (MND). This journey is not just about the physical challenge but also about remembering a friend and raising awareness for a cause that deeply matters.

The Manchester Marathon, known for its flat and fast course, offers a perfect start. Two weeks later, the Leeds Marathon presents a different challenge with its varied terrain and scenic routes.

The physical and emotional demands of running two marathons in such a short span will be immense, but the motivation to honor a friend will keep me going.

Hopefully this will inspire others to join the cause, raising awareness and funds for research and support for those affected by this devastating disease
