Story
To run the London Marathon this year, i wanted to do it for a local charity, and it doesn't get more local than my local pre school.
This is a not profit pre school, run by a brilliant bunch of staff and volunter committee members. Having been associated to the pre school for nearly 6 years, I know what a fabulous job they do, setting children in the local area up for "big school" in such a caring, considerate and fun manor.
Recent news articles show that local pre schools such as the one in Thurlton are disappearing at a scary rate of knots due to several factors. I don't know what we as a family would have done without it, so it feels right to raise some funds for future resources for the kids currently at the pre school and who are yet to attend.
Everyone's a bit down on spare cash nowadays, which is why I don't want to ask for big cash amounts. Anything you could give makes a difference. A couple of quid is a new book to read. A fiver is a new outdoor toy or game for the kids to use over the summer. Anything you'd be willing to sponsor me, whilst I pound round London town would be so appreciated!
