In 2021 my fiancée’s gorgeous mum was diagnosed with a stage 4 incurable glioblastoma. For the following 14 months Liz received treatment including brain surgery, radiotherapy and two courses of chemotherapy to give her a few more precious months to spend with us. The Beatson, where Liz received her treatment and was looked after, were absolutely incredible during this massively difficult time and provided so much support to Liz and her family. I am raising money to support the Beatson and the invaluable work that they do - so many families, similar to ours, would not be able to get through something as tough as this without their support and donations are vital to keeping that support available.

I am running the 2024 Edinburgh Half Marathon for Beatson Cancer Charity in order to raise as much money as possible.
