It’s a long way to go!

The long walk to Woodsmoke Camp is here. On Saturday 20th July Craig Harrison and Shaun Donkin will embark on an epic quest to raise money for the Woodsmoke Charity Group.

They will walk the full 29 miles from Sunderland to the camp field near Riding Mill to take part in the advance party weekend.

Why would anyone do this you ask. Well it’s all in aid of a charity close to all their hearts. Camp has been a part of their lives for many years from arriving as 10 year old first time campers, rising though the ranks to become tent officers and now senior campers and integral committee members for the charity.

Woodsmoke camp has touched many peoples lives and now Craig and Shaun want to put a bit back and help ensure that camp can continue to be enjoyed by generations to come. So that more kids can benefit from the unique experience camp provides, enjoy the activities, the beauty of the Northumberland countryside, benefit from the team building skills camp can teach you and so others can make great friends and great memories that’ll last a lifetime.
