I’m taking on this sponsored run to support something I deeply believe in, being our church and the life-changing work it does every day in our community. This isn’t just a church building, it’s a place where lives are being restored, hope is being renewed, and people from all walks of life are finding support, belonging, and purpose. I’ve seen first-hand how the church has helped individuals and families through difficult times, creating a space where everyone feels welcomed and valued.

We are now raising funds to buy our own premises, which will allow us to grow this impact even further. Our vision is to create more than just a place of worship, we’re building a true community hub for Croydon. This space will serve local people through a range of inclusive initiatives, including a nursery, fitness and wellbeing programmes, counselling services, and a safe, supportive environment for young people to gather and thrive.

By expanding what we offer, we can reach more people, reduce isolation, improve well-being, and provide practical support where it’s needed most. This new centre will be a place where community, care, and compassion come together to transform lives.
