Story
I am raising money in honour of my Dad, Thomas McDonagh, who passed away earlier this year from Mesothelioma cancer.
I will be stepping out of my comfort zone and learning to swim in order to swim 10 miles in 40 days. Learning to swim will be the hardest part of this challenge and it is something that I never thought I would be doing as an adult. I plan to start the challenge in July and will provide updates on my progress.
Mesothelioma UK is the national charity for anyone affected by mesothelioma, a preventable cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. They exist to support people with mesothelioma to live better and live longer and to prevent mesothelioma happening to future generations. They do this by advocating for better treatment and care, enhancing quality of life, supporting research and amplifying the patient’s voice.
