Support Our Mission to Change Lives Through Football in Rwanda!

In October 2025, a group of dedicated young footballers and experienced coaches will embark on a life-changing 10-day trip to Rwanda, organized by Scottish Football for Rwanda (SFR). This incredible initiative uses football as a force for good, bringing hope, education, and opportunity to children and communities in Rwanda’s Karongi District.

Why We’re Going

Rwanda is a country that has shown remarkable resilience after the horrors of the 1994 genocide, but many communities still face extreme poverty. Through football, we aim to make a lasting impact by:

⚽ Delivering football coaching sessions to children of all ages and abilities.

⚽ Supporting grassroots football development and local coaches.

⚽ Donating essential football kits and equipment.

⚽ Visiting schools, outreach centers, and ex-street kid programs to engage with the next generation.

⚽ Learning about Rwanda’s history and culture, ensuring this experience shapes us as much as it benefits them.

How You Can Help

Each volunteer is raising £2,250 to fund their place on the trip and contribute directly to vital projects in Rwanda. Your donation will help cover:

✅ Pitch development projects in Karongi and Kigali.

✅ Outreach programs supporting disadvantaged youth.
