Story
On the 3rd of November 2023, my son, Oliver, was involved in a road traffic accident, whilst walking to school. Unfortunately, his friend, Freddie, did not survive the accident. On that day Oliver received significant and timely attention from the East Anglian Air Ambulance Service, their support and decisive decision-making as they transported Oliver to The Royal London Hospital all led to his ultimate recovery.
Following a number of conversations with friends and family, as well as the Air Ambulance Service, we have decided to hold a fundraising event in support of the Air Ambulance for East Anglian and Essex & Herts, but also as an opportunity to say thank you for the service they provide.
They are a charity that provides a free life-saving service that is operational 24/7 by helicopters and by rapid response vehicles in the hours of darkness.
They exist because of generous people like you who donate, play our lottery, visit our shops, and volunteer!
Thank you for your support
