Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.
Anyone who has a child diagnosed with Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T) realises immediately and agonisingly that their lives will be changed forever and that the future holds a number of very difficult challenges for their child both physically and emotionally.
Founded in January 2012 by parents of a child diagnosed with A-T, Action for A-T understand what that feeling is like and is committed to making a difference to those affected by funding high quality medical research.
In the UK, research funding for A-T is extremely limited so Action for A-T was established to increase investment in A-T research and raise awareness of the condition.
Action For A-T receive no national funding and although the funds we have helped them raise so far has made a huge difference to their research we want to help raise as much as possible for them to continue their great work.
Therefore, I would be most grateful If you would support me and the BCA Team in the following challenge this year.
Thursday 12th - Saturday 14th September, will be our annual charity cycling event where myself and circa 40 colleagues from around BCA, will be embarking on a 3-day cycle, pedalling 200+ miles.
This year we will be pedalling from our BCA Blackbushe Auction Centre to the Northern French town of Arras departing on Thursday 12th travelling 60-80 miles through the South of England en route to Newhaven to catch the ferry to Dieppe
Day 2 we will pedal a further 60–80-miles to Amiens and then onto the final leg on Day 3 into Arras, finishing on Saturday 14th April.
