Craig's fundraiser for Pawprints Dog Rescue

Craig Spooner is raising money for Pawprints Dog Rescue

Chillswim: Windermere 2025 · 6 September 2025 ·

Pawprints Dog Rescue takes in dogs which have been picked up by local Dog Wardens, and which would have otherwise been euthanased following their statutory 7 days in local authority care. It also arranges foster care or new homes for dogs whose owners facing hospitalisation or terminal illness. Pawprints neuter, vaccinate and provide medical treatment for the dogs before rehoming them.

Story

Done! 5hr 30 (3rd in his age category). AMAZING effort. Reuben and Harry are very proud of their Daddy!

Hi and thank you for visiting my justgiving page.

I am undertaking an ultra-marathon swim challenge by swimming the entire length of Lake Windermere, the largest natural lake in England totalling 10.5 miles none stop on Saturday 6th September in support of Pawprints Dog Rescue. Pawprints is an animal welfare charity saving abandoned, stray and neglected dogs who are at risk of euthanasia.

Swimming the length of lake Windermere is going to be a real test of physical and mental endurance. Those of you who know me well, know that i have a great love of animals and in particular my two dogs Ambr and Mr Oak. I was fortunate to welcome them into my life via rescue and really appreciate the fantastic work that Pawprints do to provide the care, rehabilitation and ultimately new loving homes for countless dogs in need.

Your generous donations will go directly to Pawprints Dog Charity, helping to fund essential services and care for dogs in need. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a significant impact

Thank you and wish me luck (I will need it) :)
