Cure Leukaemia has runners across the UK, Running for a Cure, raising funds to support our Research Nurses deliver new drugs and treatments to those patients whose treatments has been unsuccessful and changing the way treatments will be in the future.

I will be running/crawling!! the iconic Great North Run 1/2 Marathon.

I’m doing this to support my friend’s Jim and Jo after seeing everything they went through when their son, Jude, was diagnosed with leukaemia. Jude had to endure so much throughout his treatment, from the uncertainty and fear to the many difficult days that came with hospital visits, tests, and the side effects of treatment. Thanks to research and clinical trials, Jude will soon be celebrating 5 years in remission—something every family facing blood cancer deserves the chance to experience.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps fund life-saving blood cancer research and gives hope to families who are facing the toughest journey of their lives.
