Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After nearly two years of investigations, my son Reuben was diagnosed with Kabuki Syndrome in May.

Kabuki Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder which can affect multiple parts of the body. Most notably for Reuben these have included recurrent infections requiring hospitalisation, feeding difficulties where he has needed an NG tube, Failure to Thrive, Developmental Delay and Congenital Heart Defects.

Reuben has spent most of his life in and out of hospital having many tests but is still a very happy little boy.

I have decided to walk the 112km of the Cumbria Way to raise money for Kabuki UK who help people with Kabuki Syndrome and their families.

Thank you very much for your support x
