Crakehall CC March in March for MS

Matthew Randall is raising money for Multiple Sclerosis Society

Crakehall CC March in March for MS · 27 March 2026

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

All monies donated will be for the Hambleton and Richmond branch.

John Love, who is a much loved member of the cricket club was diagnosed earlier this year with MS. John and his family are receiving support from MS Society Hambelton and Richmondshire Branch and as a cricket club we want to raise funds for them to support the excellent work they undertake, in John’s honour.

As such we are undertaking a fundraising walk between the cricket grounds in the Nidderdale League who were original members of the Wensleydale Cricket League along with Crakehall. This will take place over the 27th and 28th March 2026, starting and finishing in Crakehall, and as well as the walk we are running a raffle and also an auction of donated lots – so far we have a signed ball from Ben Stokes, a signed book from Andrew Flintoff, and a framed signed programme from the 2010 Open Championship from winner Louis Oosthuizen among various other items
