This year, we are hosting a Virtual Halloween Cat Show!

The Cat Show will have 5 categories you can enter by commenting on our Facebook posts with a photo of your cat. These will be…

1. Cutest Kitten

2. Cosiest Cat

3. Mature Moggy

4. Best of Friends

5. Spookiest Black Cat

Entries will be open from Wednesday 23rd October for 1 week, and the winners will be announced on Halloween!

Suggested donation is £2 per entry (or £10 for five entries) which will be very gratefully received and used to help us support more local cats and their owners.

Virtual Cat Show Terms and Conditions

1. The Virtual cat show will take place on Wednesday 23rd October for 7 days.

2. To enter comment with your favourite photo of your cat and remember to use your cats name in your entry.

3. Please note, we are unable to accept entries where cats have been dressed up as this does not meet with our welfare standards, cats in clothing, including bows and fancy collars, will be excluded from the competition and hidden from public view in our comments.

4. Cats Protection has the right to reject an entry to the Cat Show for any reason.

5. There is a suggested donation of £2.00 per entry (or £10 for 5 entries) via Just Giving. You do not have to donate to participate in the show, you can enter for free.

6. Every ‘like’ or reaction on a photo represents a point, the photo with the most likes at the time of counting will be announced as the winner.

7. Each category will be live to enter for 10 days, once the cat show is finished original posts of categories will be updated to advise of this and to ensure no additional entries are posted after the points are added up.

8. Each winner will be announced by 31st October when the cat show is closed and published on https://www.facebook.com/CrawleyReigateCP

9. We reserve the right to use your entry photo and cats name when we announce the winner for each category.

10. Category winners will receive an e-certificate which will be shared via email or online message.

11. If the winner cannot be contacted within 21 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and offer this to the 2nd place entrant.

12. There can be only one winner for each category. In the case of a draw, the 1st prize winner will be selected at random before being announced.

13. The results of each category is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. All funds raised will go to Crawley and Reigate Cats Protection Registered Charity 203644 (England & Wales) SC037711 (Scotland).

15. Any money received after the end date of 30th October 2024, including late entries after the categories have closed, will be treated as a donation to help fund the work of Cats Protection and will not be refundable.

16. Cats Protection respects and is committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information you provide will remain private and will only be used for the purposes of the competition unless you give permission otherwise.
