Jay's fundraiser for Combat Stress

Jay Millard is raising money for Combat Stress

Crawling Pen Y Fan & Snowdon Mountain · 15 November 2025

The UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, we've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, we provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

Story

On Saturday 15th November 2025 I’ll be setting hand and knee on Pen Y Fan followed by crawling Snowdon the following day.

I’ll be accompanied by a small team to help with guidance, fluids and general health and safety. This is an arduous base line test as I prepare to crawl Mount Fuji in Japan in 2026.

Crawling resembles hardship yet the resilience to move forward at your own pace. Know that there is a way through, not a way out.

I’ve chosen Combat Stress for this specific task, as I’m in awe about the voluntary work they do for veterans across the United Kingdom. Please support, give what you can and know that help and support does exist. Please refer to below:

Combat Stress are the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health.

For over a century, they’ve helped former servicemen and women deal with trauma-related mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

They’re on a mission to raise awareness that invisible injuries can be just as hard to cope with as physical ones. So when a veteran is having a tough time, they’re there to help them tackle the past and take on the future.

Thank you,
