As most of you know, I grew up in Romania, so volunteering with Hospices of Hope, is extra close to my heart.

Growing up, I saw close friends and family going through serious and terminal illness, without having the support and care they needed. Instead, they had to battle with a corrupt health system that doesn't really understand end of life, or bereavement, or how to prepare anyone for this.

Having seen the struggle most people go through, I have decided to join a group of volunteers on a ten days trip to spend time with children benefiting from the hospice’s services. A chance to relax, have fun, share stories and find comfort in each other... a break from the daily struggle of life.

I would truly appreciate your support with this fundraiser and to spread the word about the incredible work Hospices of Hope are doing.
