D&D Livestream · 20 December 2025

We exist to stand with & for people experiencing homelessness in the Exeter area & help them feel safe in a place they can call home. Through our homelessness centre & our local housing services, we provide a range of support to help people fulfil their potential & move into more settled lives.

Story

The festive season has come again, and that means it's time for another Critmas Clash. Previous years this event has been held in private, just for the fun of it. But the last two years we opened it out to the world and streamed our D&D shenanigans for the world to see - and raise a little money for a good cause in the process. We raised £225 the first year, and £300 the second.

Join us on the 20st December as our pop culture icons compete for the greatest of seasonal honours - a place on Santa's Sleigh team. At the end of the stream, the competitor with the highest Cheer Score will be inducted onto the team.

The stream will be hosted on the Sword & Social Twitch, and is due to begin at 13:00 UK time.

Donations will be going to St Petrock's in Exeter. See below for more details on their fantastic work.

And if that isn't reason enough to throw in a few pennies, your donations could also have an affect on the outcome of the game itself:

Effecting the Game:

Donations of £5 or more can request either a Boon or a Bane to effect the field at random. Or donate £10 or more and choose a competitor to boost their cheer score. Your donations could make a difference to who ends up winning!

Just make your donation, and leave your request - Boon/Bane or Cheer and the name of the target (where applicable) - in the donation message. All your wonderful gifts will be donated at the top of each round, for the most opportunity for impact.

So again that's:

£5 or more - Boon or Bane (your choice) to a random competitor.

£10 or more - Boost a chosen competitor's Cheer Score.

This year's Competitors are:

Kermit the Frog - Played by Cameron

Inigo Montoya - Played by Piers

Robin Hood - Played by Alex

Marty Mcfly - Played by Jack

About the Charity:

"St Petrock’s has been the first point of contact for people who are homeless, or vulnerably housed, in Exeter and surrounding areas for a generation.

Our centre in Cathedral Yard is both the heart of our services and the gateway to specialist service providers. It is unique in the city, in that it offers its own accommodation routes in addition to basic survival services and advice and support, all under one roof.

Our work tackles not only the issues of homelessness but also the accompanying factors, such as anti-social behaviour and wider social inclusion issues."
