Story
Hi everyone. In April 2026, I will be taking on the challenge of running the iconic London Marathon for the very first time. This will be a particularly special race as it will be my first raising funds for the incredible Scioliosis Support and Research.
I myself was diagnosed with a mild spinal curvature in 2009 and, despite having never met anyone else with the condition, more than two million people are currently living with scoliosis in the UK. Scoliosis Support and Research provide critical support to affected families and raise the awareness that is so critical to early diagnosis. My pledge is to raise GBP 1,500 which means I have the target of raising GBP 35 or CHF 37 for each of the 42kms raced in London. Any contribution - no matter the number of kms (or even just meters) - would mean the world. I’ll randomly assign a km to each donor but let me know in the comment if there’s a particular km between 1-42 that you would like to sponsor. Whether you're able to donate or not, don't forget to get extra value and pleasure no doubt from all of the training kms on Strava (link). Chris
