Story

Mae’r gronfa er cof am Carey yn cefnogi gwaith pwyllgor elusennol Capel y Tabernacl yn Efail Isaf. Y prif weithgaredd yw cefnogi plant ac oedolion bregus yn ardal Pontypridd a thu hwnt, dan arweiniad John Llewellyn Thomas. Yn gyson mae’r capel yn casglu dillad, celfi ac offer trydanol i rai sydd mewn angen mewn llochesi i ferched, i rai sy’n ddigartref neu mewn hosteli neu mewn cartrefi dros dro. Bob Nadolig a dros y Pasg bydd ymdrech arbennig i ddarparu ychydig o gysur ychwanegol iddyn nhw.

Mae’r Tabernacl yn enwog ledled Cymru erbyn hyn am y modd ymarferol mae’n estyn allan i’r gymuned ehangach ac yn cynnig cefnogaeth i rai difreintiedig yn ardal Pontypridd ac yn y cymoedd.

Derbynnir rhoddion yn ddiolchgar i'r gronfa hon er cof am Carey.

The fund in memory of Carey supports the work of the charitable committee at Tabernacl Chapel in Efail Isaf. Under the leadership of John Llewellyn Thomas, the primary activity involves supporting children and vulnerable adults in the Pontypridd area and beyond. The chapel regularly collects clothing, furniture, and electrical appliances for those in need—including individuals in women’s shelters, those who are homeless, or people living in hostels or temporary accommodation. Every Christmas and Easter, a special effort is made to provide them with a little extra comfort.

Tabernacl is now renowned throughout Wales for the practical way in which it reaches out to the wider community, offering support to disadvantaged people in the Pontypridd area and the Valleys.

Donations to this fund, in memory of Carey, are gratefully received.
