Croydon High School - 150km for 150 years

Brighton Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·
**Croydon High School GDST runs Brighton!**
On Sunday, 6th April 2025, staff from Croydon High Junior & Senior School will be taking on the challenge of the Brighton Marathon Weekend to raise funds for UNICEF. Together, we’re aiming to commit at least 150 km to celebrate Croydon High's 150th birthday this year!
With a mix of runners tackling the 10k race (6.2 miles) and the Brighton Marathon (26.2 miles), our team is coming together to make every step count for a great cause. We believe in the power of our school community to make a difference, and we’d love your support to help us reach our fundraising goal.
**Meet the Team**
A huge shoutout to the incredible staff who have already committed to the challenge:
Marathon Runners: George Flower, Carmel Tooke
10k Runners: Ali Cotton, Anna Johnson, Katie Thomas, Katy Fenwick, Liz Smith, Phil Coley, Nerys James, Primrose Wood, Matt Taylor, Toni Yam, Maria Murray, Kenta Watson
Together, we’ve already committed in excess of 150 kilometres (204 kilometers! Or 126.8 miles!), but we’re pushing for even more.
**Why We’re Running**
We’re running to support UNICEF, this year's School charity. Every donation, big or small, will help make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
