This year C.S Ellis have chosen the Air Ambulance as our official Charity of the Year.

Every day of the year, our local Air Ambulance (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. Their critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day.

The Air Ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. They are supported by a Critical Care Car meaning that they can reach those who need help 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The charity receives no government funding for its daily missions and is reliant on donations and fundraising events to support the costs associated with providing this incredible service.

C.S Ellis know only too well what a vital role the Air Ambulance has in providing critical care response, having seen them deployed to site in unfortunate circumstances twice in the past couple of years. Their support and bravery in the face of adversity on those days were not only felt by the recipients of their care, but the First Aid Teams at C.S Ellis who took comfort in their support once on site too. The impression they left was everlasting and inspired us to help support with funds as much as we can. The costs to maintain the helicopters, fuel them and keep them in service 24/7 we can relate to in our industry.

All fundraising events over the year will be donated to the Air Ambulance, our first event "90 miles for 90 Years" will celebrate our milestone anniversary. We hope to see the Air ambulance in service for the next 90 years and beyond too.
