Story
At HOPE, people are supported through traumatic bereavement with someone to talk to, someone to listen, and someone to simply be there. Support is offered at each person’s own pace and continues for as long as it is needed. Guidance is also provided throughout the Criminal Justice process, with support available wherever and whenever it is required. Peer support meetings offer a safe space to connect with others who have experienced similar loss, allowing people to share their stories when they feel ready, with those who truly understand. For young people who have witnessed traumatic events, HOPE works closely with PTSD specialists to help them process pain, anxiety, and distressing symptoms, enabling them to heal and move forward with hope and confidence.
Choosing HOPE means choosing a community that truly understands.
