In June, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of our little Pihi at just 10 weeks, and I had to undergo surgery for miscarriage. It was at that moment that we found ourselves part of a club no one ever wishes to join — one with far more members than many realise.

While I couldn’t control what happened then, and so much of the future still feels uncertain, there is something I can do now: fundraise for Tommy’s, a charity dedicated to supporting families affected by baby loss and working tirelessly towards a future where more pregnancies have a positive outcome.
