Story

As part of the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge 2026, our IT team, called “Ctrl Alt Delicious” are making a real difference for a cause close to our hearts.

This year, we’re rallying behind Paul Wilcox’s 5-year-old daughter, who lives with albinism—a rare genetic condition that affects vision, skin, and hair pigmentation.

Gigi is visually impaired and is working with the guide dog association looking at options from dogs to canes to help make her life more accessible.

She also has to take precautions every day with application of sun cream and wearing hats, even during the winter.

Families navigating albinism often face unique challenges, from medical needs to social inclusion, and the support network provided by the Albinism Fellowship is invaluable.

The Albinism Fellowship works tirelessly to:

Provide guidance and community for families.

Raise awareness and understanding of albinism.

Advocate for equal opportunities and accessibility.

Our goal is to raise £2,500 to help fund these vital services and ensure children like Paul’s daughter have the resources and support they deserve.

By helping Ctrl Alt Delicious, you’re not just donating—you’re helping create a brighter, more inclusive future. Every pound brings us closer to making a tangible impact.

Let’s do this together. Click, donate, and share!
