CTSG Ben Nevis Camera Climb

Brandon Cox is raising money for Mates in Mind

CTSG Ben Nevis Camera Climb · 27 June 2026

Mates in Mind aims to raise awareness, address the stigma of poor mental health and promote positive mental wellbeing in the UK workforce.

Story

CTSG will be undertaking its own unique charity mountain climb as part of the CTSG Charity Challenge 2026.

The challenge will take place on Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the UK, standing at 1,345 metres and widely regarded as one of the most demanding climbs in the country.

The climb typically takes 7–9 hours to complete, and our team will be ascending and descending the mountain within the same day.

To add to the challenge, the team will be working together to carry a fully built camera pole for the duration of the climb, requiring constant coordination, teamwork, and resilience.

This challenge is being undertaken to raise money for Mates in Mind, a charity dedicated to improving mental health across the construction industry. Their work focuses on raising awareness, reducing stigma, and providing support for those facing mental health challenges within our sector.

The Ben Nevis Camera Climb will demand determination, teamwork, and grit—values that truly reflect what CTSG stands for. We’re proud to be supporting such an important cause and taking on a challenge that represents both physical endurance and collective effort.
