Hi Everyone,
Me and Angel are going to be raising money for a charity called 'Little Lady Locks' using our business's and platforms. We came across this charity on Instagram and it has stood out to us ever since as it holds a close place in our hearts with Angel going through this process when she had cancer. What they do is life changing for some little ladies and we would love to be a part of it.
About Little Lady Locks

My Story - Millie
My little sister Angel had cancer when she was 15/16 and had to go through losing her hair at such a young age. No girl should have to go through it. She is my inspiration and I would like to help other young ladies get their identity back through having a wig just like my sister did. It helps give that boost of confidence when you are feeling at your lowest. It puts a smile on a girls face who is going through something that she should never have to. For most people your hair is your identity and to have to lose your hair not by choice is heart breaking.
Like us, it wasn't as easy as just going to buy a wig, they are expensive and a lot of families cannot afford it. So I would like to raise £500 which is how much a new wig will cost with Little Lady Locks Charity to be able to help out a family during the toughest time of their lives.
I hope you can all support me with raising this money and help these beautiful, brave and courageous young ladies feel like themselves again.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Love Millie,
Curls & Tans
My Story - Angel
I was diagnosed with ewings sarcoma at the age of 15, a 15 by 15 cm tumour in my pelvis which needed intense 10 months chemotherapy and 3 months proton beam radiotherapy in jacksonville florida.
At 15 years of age I felt my hair falling out due to the chemotherapy so I made the decision to shave it off before it got taken from me.
By my 16th birthday I was completely bald & going through intense chemotherapy. As you can imagine for a 16 year old girl especially on their 16th birthday you expect to feel amazing & beautiful. This was not the case.. This was me on my 16th birthday..
As a young girl going through this my main confidence boost was my wigs. Even if looking back they didn’t look great, it was still a major major thing for me to be able to feel like a normal teenage girl when going out with friends & family. Most of the time I didn’t leave my house without my wig unless I was going to the hospital. Wigs are literally the only thing I had to make ME feel like ME, so this will be one of MANY fundraisings me and my sisters do for charity’s like this. Now we have our own business’ this is where we can start to use our platforms for the right reasons.
This is just a short story and a little insight in how wigs help people with cancer🎗️.
Here is some pictures of me wearing different wigs & you can just tell the confidence boost they give you! If we can make just one person feel like themselves again. This will mean the most to us especially using our business’ to do so.
The bottom 2 pictures I was still going through treatment. You wouldn’t even know! We want to make more people feel like this too 💜
This is me trying my first ever wig on. Ready for an intense 10 months..
