Story
The Curry's Commercial Leadership Team are taking part in the Thames Moonlight 10km walk on 8th September to raise money for the Digital Poverty Alliance (DPA) ahead of the first ever End Digital Poverty Day on 12th September.
Currys are a proud founding partner of the DPA and together we are committed to ending digital poverty by 2030.
As employees of Currys we are proud of the work Currys is doing to support those who cannot access the tech they need due to digital poverty which is a real problem in the UK.
During the pandemic one in five home-schooled children did not have access to an appropriate device. That's where the DPA comes in and donations through Currys till points supports the work they do. Each day Currys raises enough money to support 2 families with a much needed device.
The Digital Poverty Alliance is an initiative of the Learning Foundation, Registered Charity in England and Wales: 1086306.
