The flooding is the worst to happen in Spain for several decades. In many communities, a year's worth of rain fell in a single day. People are now in urgent need of shelter, food, clean water, and medical assistance. As they work to recover, the need for support is critical to help those affected rebuild their lives and livelihoods.

A number of our colleagues are originally from the areas that have been heavily impacted and we would like to show our support, as a team, during this difficult time.

All donations to this fund will help flood survivors throughout affected communities in Spain. These efforts will be led by GlobalGiving's network of vetted partners.

Initially, the fund will help meet survivors' immediate needs for food, fuel, clean water, hygiene products, and shelter. As needs evolve, the fund will transition to support longer-term recovery efforts run by local, vetted non-profits.
