It took me 9 years to get a diagnosis, and I was only diagnosed by having a laparoscopy. Even then, I am struggling with my symptoms and have been on a waiting list for 9 months to see a gynaecologist to get further advice and support for my worsening condition.

It is time we raise awareness and knowledge for endometriosis, and reduce the length of time it takes to get a diagnosis.
