Cutting my hair for Charity
I am raising money for two charities, St Giles Animal Welfare (based in Taunton) and the Little Princess Trust. please feel free which charity you wish to donate to. My hope is that I can raise similar amounts for both charities. This is the page dedicated to the Little Princes Trust.
I will be shaving my head, and the hair that I save will be donated to the Little Princess trust where it will be made into a wig for a child, free of charge.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.
The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
In October 2023, I decided to grow my hair in support of both of these organisations.
My goal is to raise £1,000 per charity. A lofty ambition, perhaps, but both charities deserve so much more than that.
