Why We’re Walking for PKD - a note from Anti Ellie

Last year I was unexpectedly diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease, which came as a shock as I’d never even heard of the condition before.

PKD affects millions of people worldwide, yet it’s still not widely known or talked about. This really highlights how unknown the condition still is, and why raising awareness is so important.

As a team, we’d really like to help change that by raising awareness and supporting research whether that’s improving treatments or moving closer to finding a cure in the future.

It’s about doing something positive, raising awareness, and hopefully making a difference for people living with PKD.
