Story

Brake Charity of the Year

CWU Regional Young Workers have chosen Brake as their Charity of the Year. The Regional Young Workers know the important of being safe on the road. Brake is a National Charity working to prevent road death and injury and support those bereaved and injured in road crashes. There are 5 people die on our roads every day and hundreds more seriously injured. Visit www.brake.org.uk to find out more about their life-saving work.

The 4 Jumpers

We have 4 workers {Natalie, Beth, Leon and Quincy} that will take part in the Skydive in Peterlee, Durham. These 4 workers will take part in a Tandem Skydive which means jumping from plane at 15,000 Feet. It is an once in life-time opportunity. This allows us to raise vital funds to help Brake support people affected by road crashes and campaign for safe and healthy mobility for all.

Dates for the Jump

We have the following days for the jumps. If you want to come and watch, you are more then weclome. We would love all the support we can get.
