St Clement's Church exists at the heart of Chorlton community. We are a vibrant faith community caring for one another and our community. Our four halls are used by over 40 different regular groups every week as well as one-off events throughout the year. We host parent and toddler groups, yoga, exercise and marital arts classes, art classes, dance, and a lunch club anda coffee morning for older people and much more. We run a branch on the Chorlton and Didsbury Foodbank at our daughter Church, St Barnabas, and provide two rooms for the Face 2 Face counselling service.

Story

Each year, members of Chorlton Central Church, the Metropolitan Congregation at Wilbraham St Ninian's Church, St Clement's Chorlton, and friends from many other churches, join together to march in the Manchester Pride Parade.

They march under the banner "Christians Walking with Pride." It is our hope to a bring a message of God's inclusive love to all people in order to counter the homophobia that far too many churches still promote.

This year one of the group's banners went missing from the fence at St Clement's Church in Chorlton. We do not know why it was stolen. We are looking to fundraise for a replacement banner. Any additional money raised will be put towards the registration fees for group to join the Manchester Pride Parade. Thank you for your support.
