Our colleague Sandra passed away on the morning of 23 May 2023 – her 50th birthday. Sandra was loved by so many Boxgrove families, along with every staff member she ever worked with.

In her memory we have begun to create a garden of remembrance where staff and children can spend time remembering and celebrating the special person she was. We are hoping to raise some funds to help us complete the garden area as well as stocking it with flowers we know she loved. We will even be adding the odd camper van decoration or two , as it was always Sandra’s dream to own and live in a campervan, as free as her spirit. Any additional funds raised will be used to enhance the ‘growing’ environment beyond the Winter Garden.

To help us raise funds staff at Boxgrove will be taking part in a sponsored cycle throughout the school day on Thursday, 23 May 2024 to commemorate the first anniversary of her passing. We hope to cycle from Guildford to Paris using static bikes and may go even further! We thank you in advance for supporting us to remember Sandra in this way.
