Story

In July 2026 I am embarking on a huge challenge to raise awareness and support for mental health. My chosen charity is Samaritans.

Over the course of my journey, I will cycle more than 700 miles around all 42 professional Scottish football clubs in 7 days.

Football has always been a huge part of my life and it’s always been more than “just a game” —it gives so many of us a vital 90-minute break from the pressures of everyday life.

In the same way, cycling has become an important outlet for me, offering huge benefits for my mental health as well as my physical health.

By combining the two, I want to highlight how sport, in all its forms, can play a crucial role in supporting our wellbeing. This challenge is about more than just endurance—it’s about sparking conversations, breaking stigma, and reminding people that it’s okay to ask for help.

I would be hugely grateful for your support—whether that’s through sponsorship, donations, or simply sharing my story to help spread the message. Together, we can make a difference for those struggling with their mental health.
