Our mission is to save the lives of men in suicidal crisis. Since opening in 2018, we’ve helped over 4,300 suicidal men access free, life-saving therapy at our centres in Liverpool, London and Newcastle. 75% of deaths by suicide are men, but suicides are preventable. Donate today to help save lives.

Story

At James' Place, our mission is to stop men dying by suicide. Yet, in the UK, suicide remains the single leading cause of death for men under 50. We believe that no man should face a suicidal crisis alone.

James' Place provides free, professional therapy for men in suicidal crisis to help them find hope for the future. To support this vital work, we are embarking on a charity bike ride from Newcastle James’ Place centre to Liverpool James’ Place centre. Over three days, we will cover nearly 200 miles, all while raising much-needed funds for this incredible charity.

This challenge is particularly significant as it marks the first time that all but one of us have ridden a road bike. It’s a testament to our commitment and determination to make a difference. We aim to raise as much money as possible to ensure that more men can access the support they desperately need.

We invite you to join us on this journey whether through your encouragement or by contributing to our fundraising efforts. Together, we can help save lives and provide hope where it is needed most.
