Catalyst Care Group's Leaf Complex Care & LD Network brands, will be holding a fundraising event on: 

Date - Saturday 13th May 2023, 

Venue - Bodyworld Gym (Plymouth)

Time - 0800 – 2000. 

Fifteen (15) enthusiastic individuals associated with Leaf Complex Care & LD Network, will be raising funds by virtually cycling the length of the United Kingdom, which is 600 miles / 1000 km to support the Catalyst Foundation. (This is the distance that all sixty-two (62) beneficiaries being supported through its S.H.E (Secure, Hope, Empowered) Programme, collectively, have to walk to and from school, every single day.) 

Charity Background:

Catalyst Foundation is part of the Catalyst Care Group house of brands and is an independent charity registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (Registered Charity Number: 1193385).

It’s S.H.E Programme focuses on empowering girl-child education across Africa, by removing the barriers that vulnerable girls in particular face when accessing an education. 

Across Africa, 32.6 million girls of primary and lower secondary school age are out of school. This number rises to 52 million when looking at girls of upper secondary school age.  As a result of not going to school, girls may become victims of: - child abuse, child rape, early child marriages/pregnancies, HIV/AIDS, and the list goes on.  

This is where the Catalyst Foundation comes in and tries to bridge this gap, as they believe that every girl-child has the right to an education!
