Cycle for smiles – Breaking Barriers, Building Confidence

Matthew and Ethan Price is raising money for Pro Level Vision

Haddenham to Stoke on Trent Cycle ride · 26 February 2026

We raise money to support children who come from backgrounds where being able to access regular high quality football coaching falls out of reach. This shouldn’t just be for those small number of players who aspire to be the future professional footballers, but all can benefit from the technical, tactical and psychological work we do. Throughout the last few years, childhood has become even more difficult. Working with PLA we can provide an environment that grows confidence, resilience and leadership qualities, while being a place where every player can thrive and feel valued.

Story

Matthew and Ethan are taking on an extraordinary challenge, 137 miles (220km) cycling from Haddenham to Stoke-on-Trent to raise vital funds for Pro Level Vision. This inspiring ride is not just about miles covered – it’s about breaking barriers, creating opportunities, and ensuring every child, regardless of background or ability, can access the confidence-building power of football. It’s a charity challenge like nothing completed before, turning determination on the road into smiles and futures off the pitch.

Pro Level Vision works in partnership with Pro Level Academy to break down barriers and ensure that academy standard coaching is accessible to all children, regardless of their background.

In 2024 we launched our weekly pan-disability sessions in partnership with Caudwell Children, aimed at disabled and/or autistic young people aged 8 to16. We have welcomed 30 youngsters to this inclusive, fun environment – providing them with a full kit – and now have three pan-disability teams.

We believe football coaching shouldn’t be reserved for those few who dream of turning professional – it’s about building confidence, resilience and leadership in every child, no matter their aspirations.

In an increasingly challenging world, children need safe and supportive environments more than ever. Research continues to highlight the difficulties young people face today, and we are working to create a space where every child can thrive, feel valued and develop skills that extend far beyond the pitch.

With your ongoing support, we can continue making a real difference.
