Story
Hello! We’re Charles, George, and Lawrence- three friends embarking on an adventure: cycling the length of Great Britain from Land’s End to John o’ Groats. This journey is a special send-off for us before we part ways for higher education after completing our A-levels.
We’ve been organising, planning and training for this adventure since the 14th of June last year. We’ve committed to weekly long-distance rides and have mapped out the whole of our route. This trip is about making lasting memories, challenging ourselves, and experiencing the beauty of nature while we’re still young and able to embrace the opportunity.
Your contribution will support a cause close to our hearts.
Previous experience:
Lawrence brings valuable experience from previous similar two-week excursions with his family, giving us insight into planning and tackling many potential challenges.
All three of us have done Silver Duke of Edinburgh so we have experience with multi-day outdoor challenges.
Giving Back:
all donations will be sent to Cancer Research UK a charity deeply personal to us:
Lawrence’s brother bravely battled childhood muscle cancer, a journey that greatly affected his family.
Charles’ father passed away from early-onset Alzheimer’s last year, leaving a radical impact on his life.
George’s grandma has battled Alzheimer’s for at least 5 years since she was diagnosed.
By supporting us, you may also contribute to these amazing causes, helping others facing similar struggles.
Thank you so much for your time, generosity, and for helping us create unforgettable memories on our first- and possibly last -adventure together!
Special thanks
to sash window restoration and insulation who very kindly donated £250 and £50 from Aaron for covering our base costs to make this trip possible!
