Cygnet Maple House is a 16 bed Mental Health hospital based in East Bridgford in Nottinghamsire, specialising in the rehabilitation of women with personality disorders.

Our staff and patients really want to give something back to society. Each year we pick a charity and we fundraise for that charity for the whole year in order to raise as much money as possible. This year we have chosen the homelessness charity, The Friary in Nottinghamshire.

We have chosen this charity as it is close to home and we feel passionate about people who are living on the streets and who struggle day to day. This is also a smaller charity that will really benefit from our efforts. This has been our aim throughout, so that we can really make a big impact and not just be a drop in the ocean for a bigger charity.

This page will be updated each time we plan a new event throughout the year. You are welcome to donate to this page at any point.

All of your donations are massively appreciated and will help us get to our first hurdle of at least £1000. We are aiming by the end of the year to beat our current total of £2068 from last year's charity 4 Louis.

Our first event of the year was a fancy dress walk around Gedling Country park on Friday 27th February. This was a lot of fun despite the weather and at time of writing our total was £265.

We also have some car boot sales coming up really soon ad we have loads of our old goodies to sell.
