I have been given a charity place to take part in the London Marathon 2027 raising money for St Barnabas House!!💚

St Barnabas House is an amazing local charity who do so much to care for people suffering with life-limiting illnesses, making their final days as comfortable as possible, as well as supporting their loved ones throughout the hardest time.

To run for St Barnabas I need to raise £3000 which thinking about it feels so overwhelming, but I have decided to just go for it with the support of everyone around me and of course, my Nana Pat who I know will be with me every step of the way.

As most people will know, a couple of months ago my lovely Nan lost her very short battle with cancer. St Barnabas nurses provided care and support for my nan which as a family we were so grateful for.

Running a marathon is completely out of my comfort zone but being able to raise money for St Barnabas knowing the impact they will continue to have for so many is something I feel really proud to do. And even though I know my nan would be telling me I’ve gone crazy, I know she would be really proud of me too🩷

Any support no matter how small would mean so much to me, thank you so much💚
