Story
On Friday, 3rd October 2025, I am taking on the challenge of Boycott your Bed London, sleeping out to help the children across the UK who go to bed every night feeling unsafe, cold, and hopeless. I am raising vital funds for Action for Children.
4.5 million children now live in poverty in the UK. That’s 31% of all children. Tonight, many children will go to bed hungry, struggle to sleep in a cold, damp house, and start the next day without a warm coat or shoes that fit. It’s relentless. But it doesn’t have to be like this.
With every minute and every hour spent braving the elements, we could help Action for Children provide a child with warm clothes, hot meals, and a proper bed. Please support me in raising vital funds and help more children have a safe and happy childhood.
Just £50 could pay for new shoes for two children; £65 could help even more children experience the joy of a safe and happy childhood. Childhood is precious; there isn’t long to get it right. But we can take action for children so they don't miss out.
