Run 60 Miles in April · 1 April 2025 to 30 April 2025 ·

Help us create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer by taking on our Run 60 Miles in April challenge.

Story

Recently our Chairman, Paul Morgan, was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which was thankfully caught early.

Paul is undergoing surgery at the end of the March before starting his recovery journey. The whole club wishes Paul a speed recovery and can't wait to have him back leading our football club.

The following members of our club have committed to running 60 Miles in April:

🐝 Our Vice Chairman and Under 11 Juniors manager, Luke Hamer, and his two boys (aged 11 and 8)

🐝 Our Secretary, Becky Delaney, Under 10 Juniors manager, Gary Davies, and their two children (aged 14 and 10)

🐝 Our Under 11 Colts manager, Ian Perrett, and his son (aged 11)

🐝 Parent from our Under 9 Colts, Steve Henry, and his son (aged 9)

Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?

Our club is taking on the Run 60 Miles in April challenge for PCR to change this and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.

Please support us during this challenge by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research. Whether you donate £5 or £500, you will be helping to make a change for men who have been impacted by prostate cancer.

Thank you for your support! 💙🧡 🐝💛🖤
