On 27th May 2023, we said our final goodbyes to our darling dad Allan after suffering from the devastating impact of Alzheimer’s.

Every person who was blessed to know dad, was touched by his kind heart, loving personality and cheeky grin.

We miss him everyday and he is forever in our thoughts and our hearts.

To mark the first anniversary of dad's passing, Paula and I are taking part in a 26-mile trek along the stunning North Yorkshire coastline of Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay and taking in moorland views across the North York Moors.

We are doing this to raise money for Alzheimer's Society and to raise awareness of this cruel disease.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
