Fire Fighters Charity provides care and support to the UK’s fire family. It helps with any health and wellbeing challenges firefighters, control staff, and everyone working in – or retired from – the UK’s fire services, as well as their families, may face - during and after service

Story

Luke, Phil & Josh, three firefighters from Derbyshire are taking on The Peak District Ultra on 28th June 2025.

The trio all serve at Dronfield working on-call alongside their primary roles. Phil and Josh are firefighters at East Midlands Airport and Luke at Ilkeston Blue Watch.

They'll be tackling 100km and over 2,000m of ascent and aiming to finish the course in under 24hrs.

They're raising money for The Firefighters Charity which is the UK fire family’s charity, here for every member of our extensive fire service community. The charity exist to help firefighters and their families live healthier and happier throughout their lives by providing a broad range of health and wellbeing services, online and in person.
