Story
I’m fundraising for EOS Network because eosinophilic diseases have shaped my life in ways I never expected. I live with lower eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease (EGID) — eosinophils were found throughout my gut, especially in my duodenum and colon, causing years of pain, uncertainty, and delayed understanding. Getting diagnosed was a long, difficult journey, and I want others to have faster diagnosis, better care, and the support they deserve.
Swimming has always been a huge part of who I am. Before my diagnosis, I trained regularly and loved the water. My dad, Graeme, is the person who introduced me to swimming. He taught me to love the sport, pushed me to be confident in the pool, and kept that passion alive even when I couldn’t swim the way I used to. He still swims today in New Mexico, where he even competed in the Senior Olympics.
So now, together, we’re taking on a challenge that means everything to us:
Swimming 7.5km for eosinophilic disease warriors.
Megan - 2.5k or 100 lengths of a 25m pool
Graeme - 5k or 200 lengths of a 25m pool

This fundraiser is for everyone living with eosinophilic diseases — for those still searching for answers, for families navigating uncertainty, and for the warriors who battle symptoms every day. EOS Network is a lifeline for people like me, and your support helps them continue their mission to educate clinicians, improve diagnosis, and make sure no one is left struggling alone.
Your donation will help create real change. Faster diagnosis. Better care. More understanding. More hope.
