There has never been three more inexperienced walkers take on such a massive mountain, ever! In the early hours of Saturday 7th September, we will set off to take on the mighty Helvellyn mountain in the Lake District. The 3rd highest peak in England, Helvellyn is a 3117ft ascent to the peak with several sharp edges on the way to the top, a little more than a 'gentle walk'! Why oh why are we doing this ?! Shevington Sharks, our local rugby club provides people and their families of all ages and abilities the opportunity to play and enjoy Rugby League and enjoy the benefits that sport and recreation brings across both the local and wider community – working together to improve health and well being across our community. The club relies on volunteers, charitable donations and subs to function and given the efforts of everyone in the club to support our little Sharks, we wanted to do something to give something back!

So, please give generously, no matter how small, every little helps!!
